Our Story

At mattressrecycling.ca, with one of our co-founders being an Olympic windsurfer, the importance of helping to keep our lands and waters clean has always hit close to home.

With protecting the environment as a top priority, our first order of business was to lobby hard for the government to ban mattress dumping in and around Metro Vancouver. Well, it worked and we won: no more mattress dumping. So where, now, would the city put their discarded mattresses? That’s where mattressrecycling.ca comes in!

Since we first opened our doors in 2008, mattressrecycling.ca has disassembled thousands of mattresses. With our impeccable track record and industry-leading levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction, it’s no surprise we have so many satisfied repeat customers. Not to brag too much, but even this dude thinks we’re pretty cool!
