Meet Building B, our newest mattress recycling warehouse!
Why the new building? Mattress Recycling has been serving the populations of Metro Vancouver, the Interior, Squamish and the Fraser Valley for over 10 years now. In that time, we’ve seen the demand for our mattress recycling services increase 3,200%!
We know, that sounds huge. It has been. Our first year in operation, before there was widespread regional bylaws and action, we recycled 3,000 units. Last year, that number was over 100,000. And we’ve been scaling up year over year to remain a leader in the industry while offering consistent service to our client cities, landfills and retailers.
So, when we relocated to our 3-acre, 22,000-sq.ft. facility in Hope in 2018, we knew we had to immediately start working on expanding. A mattress recycling warehouse needs to be large, safe, and geared for the work we do.
That’s why we’re thrilled to unveil Building B — a flexible new 12,500-sq.ft. addition to our campus that will help keep the recycling cycling.
